Andrew Scannell has a wealth of knowledge and over 30 years’ experience in providing tax advice and support to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, Andrew has completed training with large firms, gaining valuable insight and experience with:
- BDO Stoy Hayward (London): gained 13 years’ experience working within their Tax Consultancy department
- Ernst & Young (Dublin): worked in their tax division for five years
Andrew’s goal has always been to build on his expertise and knowledge regarding business and entrepreneurs, and also gain knowledge on the area of high net-worth private clients. Andrew is passionate about his work in these sectors.
As a Chartered Tax Adviser, Andrew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is also a member of:
- The Irish Tax Institute
- The Chartered Insurance Institute.
Mary Scannell
Mary Scannell is a Chartered Accountant, having gained her qualification in 1992. Subsequently, Mary gave lectures for a number of years on the topics of auditing and accounting on both the ACCA and MBA courses held at the University of East London.
Mary has been a key component here at Scannell & Associates since its creation in 2002, working on owner-managed businesses’ accounts spanning a variety of sectors.
