Share Valuations
As Share Valuations is more an art than a science, we recognise this as a specialist area. Accordingly, we use experts to provide a fiscal valuation of unquoted shares whether required for Employee Benefits or Capital Tax planning.
The basis of a valuation may vary from net asset valuations to those based on corporate earnings or dividends and is dependent on, amongst other aspects, the industry in which the company operates.
The size of the shareholding being valued is also important as this may determine the valuation basis used and also the size of the discount that can be applied and agreed with the Share Valuation Unit of HM Revenue & Customs.
